We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Tax Senior to join our team. As a Tax Senior, you will play a crucial role in providing tax compliance and advisory services to our clients. This position offers an excellent opportunity to work with a diverse client base, gain exposure to complex tax issues, and contribute to the continued success of our firm.

Key Responsibilities:

Tax Compliance: Prepare and review tax returns for individuals, partnerships, corporations, and trusts. Ensure accuracy and compliance with tax laws and regulations.

Tax Planning: Assist clients in identifying tax-saving opportunities and strategies. Provide proactive tax planning advice to optimize their financial positions.

Client Interaction: Build and maintain strong client relationships. Address client inquiries, concerns, and requests promptly and professionally.

Research: Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations. Conduct research to resolve complex tax issues and provide solutions to clients.

Team Collaboration: Collaborate with other members of the firm, including partners and staff accountants, to deliver comprehensive financial and tax solutions to clients.

Documentation: Maintain accurate and organized client files, tax records, and documentation. Ensure compliance with recordkeeping requirements.

Deadline Management: Manage multiple client engagements and meet deadlines for tax filings and compliance. Prioritise tasks effectively to ensure timely delivery of services.

Quality Control: Review work performed by junior staff members to ensure accuracy and adherence to tax regulations and firm standards.

Continuing Education: Stay current with industry trends and changes in tax laws. Attend relevant training and seminars to enhance professional knowledge.

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance (preferred) ATT or CTA qualified Proven experience in tax compliance and advisory services, preferably in an accounting firm.

  • Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local tax regulations.
  • Proficiency in tax software and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Excel).
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
