Senior Pension Advisor needed in Northallerton Paying £19.35 per hr Ref 364460

Full time hrs on a temporary basis

Key responsibilities include:

    • Assisting the Scheme Manager and acting as the service contact for external bodies

    • Managing the Pensions Administration and Payroll contract

    • Providing specialist advice on pension and retirement processes

    • Liaising with Finance and Payroll, attending meetings as an authorized signatory

    • Conducting research and project work with payroll and pension administrators

    • Preparing and submitting necessary documentation and updates

    • Briefing managers on pension changes and risk assessments

    • Supporting payroll with pension-related processes and managing data accuracy and security

    • Attending regional and national pension conferences

    • Delivering solutions on complex pension management issues

    • Maintaining current knowledge of legislation and best practices

    • Supporting and developing the payroll team and managing SLAs and KPIs

    • Providing insights and training on pension matters

    • Building effective relationships with stakeholders, unions, and staff associations

     Responsible for identifying process improvements and contributing to the implementation of new procedures, developments and working methods, including updating and guidance manuals and briefing team members
