A hugely successful and highly regarded manufacturer based near beautiful Richmond, North Yorkshire, has a fantastic opportunity for a Logistics and Customer Services Apprentice.
Your new role:
- Processing import and export orders
- Following relevant government export procedures
- Working with relevant authorities
- Understanding customs processes
- working with 3rd party logistics providers
- Collecting batch specific paperwork for export process
- Updating stock reconciliations
- Learn the dispatching process
- Updating and maintaining data onto a computer system whilst ensuring stock availability and ensuring the correct products are dispatched to customer orders.
- Good communication with internal and external customers
- Supporting and helping out in the department
Levels of responsibility:
- Ability to work independently
- Ownership of the Log and its Accuracy
- Coordination of data across the team
What you'll need to succeed:
- Good computer skills
- Good communication skills
- Ability to prioritise workload
- Team player with the ability to work as part of a team to get the job done
- Initiative - thinking of ways to improve the job rather than waiting for it to happen
