We are seeking a skilled and experienced groundworks gang to join our team for an exciting ongoing contract in Northallerton. The project involves extensive plot works, and we require a competent team comprising a Groundworker, a 360 Driver, and a Dumper Driver.
Key Responsibilities:
- Groundworker:
- General groundwork duties including trenching, concreting, and drainage.
- Preparing and maintaining work areas.
- Ensuring all work complies with health and safety regulations.
- 360 Driver:
- Operating 360-degree excavators safely and efficiently.
- Conducting routine checks and maintenance of the machine.
- Assisting with digging, lifting, and moving materials as required.
- Dumper Driver:
- Operating dumper trucks to transport materials across the site.
- Ensuring safe loading and unloading of materials.
- Performing regular maintenance checks on the vehicle.
Requirements:
- Relevant experience in plot works and groundworks.
- Valid CSCS card for all roles.
- CPCS or NPORS certification for 360 Driver and Dumper Driver.
- Proven track record of working effectively as part of a team.
- Strong knowledge of health and safety practices on construction sites.
- Ability to work under minimal supervision.
- Access to own transport.
