We are seeking a skilled and experienced groundworks gang to join our team for an exciting ongoing contract in Northallerton. The project involves extensive plot works, and we require a competent team comprising a Groundworker, a 360 Driver, and a Dumper Driver.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Groundworker:
    • General groundwork duties including trenching, concreting, and drainage.
    • Preparing and maintaining work areas.
    • Ensuring all work complies with health and safety regulations.
  • 360 Driver:
    • Operating 360-degree excavators safely and efficiently.
    • Conducting routine checks and maintenance of the machine.
    • Assisting with digging, lifting, and moving materials as required.
  • Dumper Driver:
    • Operating dumper trucks to transport materials across the site.
    • Ensuring safe loading and unloading of materials.
    • Performing regular maintenance checks on the vehicle.

Requirements:

  • Relevant experience in plot works and groundworks.
  • Valid CSCS card for all roles.
  • CPCS or NPORS certification for 360 Driver and Dumper Driver.
  • Proven track record of working effectively as part of a team.
  • Strong knowledge of health and safety practices on construction sites.
  • Ability to work under minimal supervision.
  • Access to own transport.
