Reed Food & FMCG are partnering with a market leading food manufacturing business in Northallerton, the heart of North Yorkshire.  Working as part of a collaborative Technical team, you’ll have an array of tasks in a varied and exciting role.

The shop floor is a whirlwind of activity, and you’ll never be twiddling your thumbs. If you like to be kept busy and enjoy problem solving, this role is just for you. A keen eye for detail is imperative for success here.

Some of the main duties

  • Own finished product release & hold systems
  • Managing Audits Schedules
  • Creating weekly KPI data, sharing and displaying
  • Organisation & control of microbiological analysis to ensure product safety in event of initial test failures
  • Ownership of the site document control system, updating documents & systems as required
  • Conduct traceability studies in combination with QA Managers to meet customer requirements
  • Control, maintain & gather samples for customer consistency
  • Carrying out on site audits where required

You’ll be a confident user of Microsoft Office, have great organisational skills and be a good communicator. Food safety and HACCP qualification will be highly beneficial.
