Are you looking for a stable, full-time position with a friendly, family-run company? My client has an exciting opportunity for a dedicated Store man to join their team!

To assist with the day to day running of the stores area, including Goods in and Goods out, ensuring that data and documentation related to the stores are accurate and the stock level system is maintained.

Responsibilities:

  • Receiving components and materials from customers and suppliers
  • Goods inward documentation checking, goods checking and acceptance of all deliveries to stock
  • Picking and packing orders ready for dispatch
  • Loading and unloading wagons using the company forklift
  • Ensure the warehouse stock location areas are maintained and stock is thoughtfully located for efficient access
  • Assist with continual stock checks to ensure stock level accuracy
  • Organising the dispatch of finished goods and products
  • Manual handling, lifting and carrying heavy items
  • Following all health and safety guidelines

Skills:

  • Excellent time management
  • Previous stock control experience
  • Previous warehouse experience
  • Forklift License
  • Pro-active, Team player with consideration of others
  • Ability to work on their own when required
  • High attention to detail and ability to achieve high levels of accuracy
  • Good communication skills
  • Positive 'Can do attitude’ with the ability to be flexible, hardworking

Monday to Friday 8.30am - 5.30pm

24 days holiday + bank holidays

Standard auto enrolment pension - 5% employer contribution
