Eventus Legal are seeking a Conveyancing Solicitor/ Legal Executive or Licenced Conveyancer to join the Conveyancing firm of a regional firm in their Northallerton, North Yorkshire office. This is a permanent, full-time office-based position. The firm offers a generous salary (depending on experience), along with a holiday allowance of 23 days plus bank holidays (which rises incrementally with service), and additional leave over Christmas, company paid Healthcare plan, pension scheme and a huge focus on personal development.

Role responsibilities

The incoming Conveyancing Solicitor will be expected to run their own caseload of residential conveyancing matters, along with an assistant. Your duties may include:

  • Management of all aspects of residential conveyancing and property work across both freehold and leasehold matters
  • Progression of all client work in a timely and accurate manner, keeping the client regularly informed on progress and on costs
  • Maintenance of the confidentiality and security of all documentation and information of the practice and clients, including the use of our case management system
  • Positive relationship management with external organisations both individually, and as part of the firm’s marketing and business development strategy, to create a strong client base and generate referrals
  • Supervision of the conveyancing assistant through regular interaction and review meetings to discuss performance, development, and wellbeing

Person specification

Applications are sought from experienced Solicitors, Legal Executives or Licenced Conveyancers who have the following skills and attributes:

  • Previous experience managing a full residential conveyancing caseload
  • A strong desire to offer outstanding service.
  • Ability to work as part of a team to contribute to the friendly working atmosphere

You must have prior experience in a similar role to be considered for this vacancy.
