Are you a dynamic and detail-oriented individual with a passion for the supply chain?My client is seeking a confident, driven, and enthusiastic Supply Planner to join their team. This is a permanent full-time position, where you will be required on site in Leeming Bar full time, 8:30 - 17:00. This role would be a great fit for someone with a minimum 2 years in a supply chain role and strong ability with Excel.You will be responsible for the long-term supply plan for 2 manufacturing sites, as well as a 3rd party co-packing operation. Key Responsibilities:
- Analyse sales forecasts versus stock positions
- Maintain stock positions in line with budget
- Make decisions on manufacturing prioritisations including labour, maintenance, and materials
- Manage the long-term supply plan
- Plan the lifecycle of products including new and existing items
- Actively participate in meetings and represent the Supply Chain function internally and externally
- Using Excel, ERP, and BI to analyse demand versus current supply and then plan manufacturing accordingly
Qualifications/Attributes:
- Junior level or limited experience (2-5 years) in Supply or Demand planning
- Strong educational background in mathematics and high proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Formulas/Macros)
- Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail
- The ability to make fast-paced decisions with accuracy
- Strong and confident communication skills
- Team player who will actively support and contribute where needed within the Supply Chain team
- Enthusiastic, confident, proactive, and methodical with a keen eye for attention to detail
