Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver innovative and high-quality product concepts for both clients and internal projects.
- Lead and oversee NPD projects from initial idea through to market launch.
- Develop exciting frozen confectionery products in line with customer requirements and internal standards.
- Manage retail accounts and branded product development projects.
- Translate client briefs into practical development solutions, including costings, trials, and kitchen work.
- Review and approve development artwork.
- Liaise closely with the NPD project manager, sales team, and production departments to ensure seamless project execution.
- Collaborate with both internal teams and external stakeholders.
Ideal Candidate:
- Degree in Food Science or a related field, or equivalent industry experience.
- Extensive hands-on experience in food product development, preferably in the food or drink manufacturing sector.
- Proven track record of taking products from concept through to launch.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present ideas clearly.
- Strong customer-facing and liaison skills, able to manage relationships and expectations effectively.
- Self-motivated, with a can-do, hands-on approach to problem-solving and project management.
- Innovative thinker with a passion for product development and improvement.
