About the Role:Are you an aspiring finance professional looking to grow your career? We're seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Assistant Management Accountant to join our finance team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to support key financial processes while developing your skills in a supportive and collaborative environment.

What you'll do:

  • Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts
  • Support with month-end process
  • Perform balance sheet reconciliations
  • Support the production of budgets and forecasts
  • Conduct variance analysis and provide insights into financial performance
  • Process accruals, prepayments, and journal entries
  • Help maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records
  • Assist with the preparation of financial reports for internal and external stakeholders
  • Support the year-end audit process as required

What you'll need:

  • Part-qualified AAT / Qualified AAT / QBE
  • Experience working in a finance team
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
  • Excellent numerical and analytical skills
  • Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Organised and able to manage multiple priorities
  • A team player with a positive and proactive mindset
  • Eager to learn and develop within the role
