We are actively recruiting for an Audit and Accounts job opportunity with a long-standing accountancy firm based in Northampton. The firm are based in Northampton and are large enough to offer great perks and salaries, but small enough to recognise the individual and give you a personalised career path.

The firm are flexible on the level they hire at and could hire 2 people if they are both the right fit. They have told us they are open to seeing anyone between a semi-senior and qualified senior level, even up to Assistant Manager grade.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Leading audit engagements from planning to completion, ensuring compliance with relevant standards.
  • Managing client relationships and acting as a key point of contact throughout the audit process.
  • Supervising and mentoring junior team members, providing guidance and technical support.
  • Reviewing financial statements, identifying risks, and providing recommendations to clients.
  • Collaborating with senior management to improve audit processes and efficiency.
  • Supporting the development of client advisory services beyond core audit responsibilities.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Studying or Qualified with either ACCA or ACA
