AJ Chambers are proud to be representing a top 20 firm, who are looking for an Audit Senior.

What will you be doing?

  • Supporting management to deliver assignments through fieldwork, both at clients premises and office
  • Prepare client deliverable, building client relationships & acting as an ambassador
  • Planning assignments, including budgeting and use of analytical review
  • Ensuring files are complete for manager review
  • Attend stock takes as required
  • Supervising, delegating and reviewing junior members of staff
  • Preparation of account on IRIS (under IFRS, FRS102 & 1A)
  • Identify, research and help to resolve any technical issues
  • Develop a strong commercial understanding of the clients business
  • Forming relationships with the wider audit team within the company
  • Attend further training for continuous development and maintain your technical skill and if not yet completed a professional qualification, work towards attaining one.

What do you need?

  • Minimum 4 years of experience
  • AAT/ACCA/ACA qualified or working towards a qualification
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Ability to think analytical and maintain a high level of details
  • Knowledge of UK GAAP, ISA’s and companies law
  • Exposure to owner managed businesses is essential
  • Full UK driving license and access to a vehicle on regular basis for client visits
