Role Responsibilities- Lead audit assignments from planning to completion, ensuring compliance with UK auditing standards
- Supervise and mentor junior auditors, providing guidance and support throughout the audit process
- Work directly with clients, building strong relationships and understanding their needs
- Review financial statements and identify any risk areas
- Ensure all audit work is completed efficiently and to a high standard, meeting deadlines and budget requirements
- Liaise with managers and partners to communicate findings and recommendations
- Assist in business development by identifying potential opportunities for additional services

Candidate Requirements- ACA or ACCA qualified or finalist with relevant audit experience
- Experience in leading audit engagements within an accountancy practice
- Strong knowledge of UK auditing and accounting standards
- Excellent client-facing skills with the ability to build and maintain professional relationships
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience in mentoring and reviewing the work of junior team members
- £38,000 to £48,000 per annum
- Full time, permanent role
