• Lead audit assignments from planning to completion, ensuring compliance with UK auditing standards
• Supervise and mentor junior auditors, providing guidance and support throughout the audit process
• Work directly with clients, building strong relationships and understanding their needs
• Review financial statements and identify any risk areas
• Ensure all audit work is completed efficiently and to a high standard, meeting deadlines and budget requirements
• Liaise with managers and partners to communicate findings and recommendations
• Assist in business development by identifying potential opportunities for additional services

• ACA or ACCA qualified or finalist with relevant audit experience
• Experience in leading audit engagements within an accountancy practice
• Strong knowledge of UK auditing and accounting standards
• Excellent client-facing skills with the ability to build and maintain professional relationships
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Experience in mentoring and reviewing the work of junior team members

• £38,000 to £48,000 per annum
