We are recruiting for a French Speaking Credit Controller to join our clients finance team in Northampton. Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, this exciting role offers the opportunity to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while supporting both UK and Group-wide functions. You will play a key role in ensuring the accurate recording of customer transactions, including sales invoices, credit notes, and related provisions.
Key Areas of Responsibility:
- Sales Ledger Management: Ensure tidy and accurate sales ledgers, including opening new accounts.
- Debt Collection & Reconciliation: Liaise with customer contacts to ensure debts are received on time and reconcile these against the ledgers.
- Balance Sheet Reconciliations: Prepare and review sales ledger-related balance sheet reconciliations, maintaining an understanding of the ledgers.
- Collaboration with Sales Teams: Work closely with key stakeholders within the Sales teams to ensure all transactions are reported appropriately.
- Audit Support: Act as a key contact for the external audit, ensuring appropriate support is provided.
- Support the Group Financial Controller: Assist with day-to-day finance activities, as well as supporting on project work.
- Cashflow Forecasting: Provide key input into the Group’s cashflow forecasting.
- Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement in processes and support the wider finance team.
Your Experience:
- At least two years of experience in a similar role.
- Strong Excel skills are essential.
- Experience in multi-currency and B2B businesses is highly desirable.
- Fluency in French
- Ability to work proactively and autonomously, whilst supporting the wider team.
