In this Management Accountant role, you will:

  • Work closely with the numerous academic and non financial stakeholders in your remit, to accurately discuss their budgets.
  • Have full control of the budgeting and forecasting process, being a staple within these procedures.
  • Produce the full set of management accounts, making sure to provide commentary packs on month end dealings.
  • Upskill yourself alongside the current system improvements that the organisation is running.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Had strong experience within the commercial side of finance, being at ease managing a wide portfolio of stakeholders.
  • Strong management accountancy skills, having no issues working independently at month end.  
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
  • Ideally had exposure to financial accountancy, although this isn’t a necessity.
