The Role

As Management Accountant, you’ll play a crucial role in ensuring financial clarity and efficiency across the organisation. You’ll work closely with stakeholders, departmental managers, and the Senior Leadership Team, providing accurate monthly management accounts, variance analysis, and key performance insights.

Duties include:

  • Prepare monthly management accounts, including variance analysis and commentary.
  • Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
  • Work closely with divisional budget holders, providing financial insight and guidance to support decision-making.
  • Monitor and control cash flow, ensuring effective working capital management.
  • Maintain and improve financial reporting systems and processes.
  • Reconcile balance sheet accounts and ensure the accuracy of financial records.
  • Assist with statutory reporting and audit requirements.
  • Identify opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvements.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across the business to provide financial guidance.
  • Ensure compliance with financial policies, procedures, and accounting standards.

About You

We are seeking a finance professional who is QBE, Part-Qualified ACCA/CIMA, or Qualified AAT. You should have strong financial analysis skills, including budgeting, forecasting, and performance reporting, with experience working across departments to provide valuable financial insights.

Excellent communication skills are essential, as you'll need to present financial data clearly to non-finance stakeholders and collaborate effectively across the business.

Remuneration

  • Salary - £38,000 - c£44,000 depending on experience
