Tax Senior Top 20 Firm, Northampton OfficeUp to £35,000!!!

I have an exciting opportunity for a Tax Senior for my client's Northampton office. This will involve a corporate tax role - you will be working closely with the tax team, clients and internal teams and you will manage the corporate tax affairs of a portfolio of clients and to provide tax support to the accounts team. This would be perfect for an individual with the initiative to develop their career and provide a first class service to clients in both compliance and advisory areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assuming responsibility for a portfolio of corporate clients and controlling the management and completion of work arising from these clients.
  • Organising workload to ensure an efficient and timely service is provided to clients.
  • Liaising with the accounts team to obtain necessary information and to meet any required deadlines.
  • Liaising with HM Revenue and Customs and clients.

About You:

I am looking for candidates with the following skills and experience:

  • At least 3 year's relevant tax experience in an accountancy practice
  • Qualified ATT/CTA/ACCA/ACA
  • Excellent client relationship skills and the ability to nurture existing clients as well as the ability to help develop new business and demonstrate technical breadth
  • Ability to explain complex tax issues in plain English for all levels of understanding
  • Technical proficiency and good IT skills specifically intermediate Excel - previous experience of Alpha Tax is an advantage
  • Ambitious and committed attitude
  • Have a flexible attitude to meet the ever-changing needs of the business
  • As the role may require you to travel to client premises it is vital you hold a current driving licence and have your own transport.
