SRM Recruitment are collaborating with a prominent firm in Northampton to find a driven and motivated Accounts Assistant.

As part of a well-established team, the successful candidate will have a fantastic opportunity to develop and enhance their skills and experience.

Responsibilities:

• Process supplier invoices promptly, including matching them to purchase orders and allocating to the correct accounts.
• Perform supplier statement reconciliations.
• Manage credit control.
• Assist with month-end routines.
• Conduct ongoing housekeeping activities to maintain clean ledgers.
• Maintain accurate records of accounts payable transactions.
• Verify invoice accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
• Handle ad-hoc tasks and projects.

To Be Considered:

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Proficiency in Excel.
• Strong communication skills.
• Experienced Accounts Assistant
• Excellent numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
