The Accounts Assistant plays a crucial role in maintaining financial records inclusive of purchases, sales, receipts and payments. This position is essential in assisting with the smooth running of accounting operations for a leading business services provider.

Description

  • Process and maintain financial records in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Assist with the preparation of monthly financial reports.
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable.
  • Perform reconciliations of bank statements.
  • Assist with the preparation of annual budgets.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
  • Assist in auditing services for the business services industry.
  • Work collaboratively within the Accounting & Finance team to achieve targets.

Profile

A successful Accounts Assistant should have:

  • A degree or equivalent qualification in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, particularly in Excel.
  • Knowledge of accounting software is advantageous.
  • Strong numeracy and analytical skills.
