Sonic Summary

You will be part of a dynamic accounts team of 15, reporting to the experienced Financial Controller.
The role requires AAT qualification or being a CIMA/ACCA studier, or having relevant experience (QBE).
The position is with a fast-growing, financially stable business located in Northampton, offering study support after probation.
Key responsibilities include month-end reporting, P&L production, balance sheet reconciliations, and advanced Excel tasks.
The salary is competitive, and candidates should have at least 2 years of relevant experience.

You will be working with a busy, buzzy, friendly and hardworking accounts team of 15 reporting to the Financial Controller (who has a wealth of experience you can draw from) who reports to the Finance Director. This role will suit someone who is AAT Qualified and/or a current CIMA/ ACCA studier, or a non-studier/ QBE (qualified by experience). Analysing variants
Making suggestions based on your analysis
Working with complex Excel Spreadsheets
Reconciliations
Accruals
Prepayments
Intrastats
Variance analysis
Fixed asset register
Journals

Person:

AAT QualifiedCIMA/ ACCA studier/ non studier – QBE (qualified by experience)
Looking to process your career or remain at this level, both options are possible in this role
Confident on Excel including Pivot tables, V-lookups and SUM IF’s
Good communicator
Able to work on your own initiative
