Governance Administrator - 30 hours per week

Northampton. 

Are you highly organised, proactive, and passionate about supporting good governance? If so we have an exciting opportunity for you!

We are working exclusively with the MND Association to recruit this crucial role supporting the Governance Manager and the CEO Office. You will ensure the smooth running of secretarial and administrative tasks that are vital to the leadership of the Board of Trustees and committees.

About the Job:

  • Assist in the preparation and distribution of agendas, meeting packs, minutes, and reports.
  • Manage diary coordination for the Board of Trustees and handle logistical arrangements for meetings with the Executive Leadership Team.
  • Provide full administrative support for Board and committee meetings.
  • Help plan and execute key events such as the Annual General Meeting and trustee elections.
  • Ensure excellent internal record-keeping and maintain up-to-date records on Companies House and the Charity Commission.
  • Manage the Board of Trustees' SharePoint page.
  • Occasionally support the wider CEO Team and help coordinate trustee attendance at events.

About you:

  • Minute taking experience 
  • Diary Management
  • Secretarial skills - fast and grammatically correct
  • A solid understanding of the principles of good governance.
  • Previous experience supporting leadership teams and/or boards.
  • Strong IT skills (Word, Excel, SharePoint, Outlook) and excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with diplomacy.
  • Flexibility to travel occasionally and attend evening or weekend meetings.
