Field Sales Account ManagerNorthamptonshire £35-45k DOE + Company Car Monday – FridayWe have partnered with a long standing, reputable business in the build sector, who are looking for an experienced account manager to join their team. Based on the outskirts of Northamptonshire, this role is both field and office based. They are looking for someone with experience in the build and trade industry, who is self-motivated with a good understanding of the sales account management lifecycle. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining excellent relationships with both customers and suppliers, as well as contributing to their pipeline of prospective customers.Key Duties:
  • Building strong relationships, both internal and external to identify and develop new, existing and lapsed business opportunities.
  • Acting as a main point of contact both internally and externally for any product related queries.
  • Managing the supply and demand of products.
  • Create and build a pipeline of prospective business.
  • Managing your own diary, booking and attending meetings across the midlands with existing, and new and prospective clients.
  • Develop trusting relationships both internally and externally in order to provide exceptional customer service to maintain repeat business. 
  • Maximising all customer interactions by upselling and cross selling relevant products
The Ideal Candidate:
  • Previous experience in sales / field sales is essential 
  • Previous experience in the build and trade industry is highly desirable. 
  • Ability to develop and maintain excellent relationships with customers and suppliers.
  • Proactive, and self-motivated to secure and increase sales revenue
  • Organised with the ability to manage own workload
  • Strong commercial and financial understanding
  • A full UK driving licence is essential.
