Workshop Technician

Impact Recruitment is seeking a dedicated Workshop Technician to join a leading company in their industry. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a keen interest in technology, repair, and maintenance to develop their career in a specialised field.

Salary: 25,000 - 35,000

Location: Northampton

Hours: 9am - 5:30pm + Early Finish on Friday.

Responsibilities:

  • Repair, service, test, and maintain advanced electrical products.
  • Work with both hardware and software to ensure optimal performance of products.
  • Follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
  • Complete routine paperwork and maintain computer records.
  • Maintain a clean and organised workspace to promote safety and efficiency.
  • The ability to respond to customer enquiries via phone or email would be beneficial but is not essential.

What We're Looking For:

  • A strong interest in electro-mechanical products and their software controls.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
