BMS Commissioning Engineer

Location: Within 1.5-hour travel from Northampton, Bedford, or Milton Keynes  
Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 DOE  
Hours: 50-hour week with paid overtime after 11 hours - Monday to Friday. 
Benefits: Private healthcare, pension, company car or cash equivalent (£6k), fuel card for personal use, 33 days of holiday including bank holidays

Our projects team oversees BMS installations from start to finish, ensuring systems are up to specification and meet client requirements. We manage multiple BMS projects across the UK with a focus on health and safety compliance and system performance.

Role Overview:

We are seeking a BMS Commissioning Engineer. The role involves commissioning BMS installations, ensuring systems function according to specifications and meet performance standards.

Key Responsibilities of this BMS Commissioning Engineer position: 

- Confirm the mechanical and electrical performance of BMS systems.
- Measure technical performance, ensuring the system meets design and operational requirements.
- Prove the effectiveness of control strategies and sequences.
- Compile necessary documentation including commissioning reports, manuals, and system logs.

Qualifications and Experience needed for this BMS Commissioning Engineer position:

- Electrically qualified, holding a valid CSCS card (training available if required).
- Familiarity with Trend, Siemens, or Schneider BMS systems is essential.
- BOHS W501 qualification is an advantage.
- 18th edition certification is desirable.

Work Conditions:

- Remote-based with tools, laptop, and phone provided.
- Travel within a 1.5-hour radius for project work.
- Paid overtime at 1.5x for extra hours, and 2x for Saturday PM and Sunday work.
