We have exclusively partnered with an OEM that specialise in decontamination and general lab equipment, who are growing exponentially. They are a family orientated business with 4 generations of experience and value their company culture and customer service very highly. They are looking for an Enthusiastic, customer centric individual who can hit the ground running and develop within a dynamic and collaborative team.

Role Overview:

  • Providing UKAS temperature calibration and validation to customers across a range of temperature-controlled products such as autoclaves, incubators and freezers, media preparators.
  • Travelling to customer sites across the UK. The main sites and areas of work are Cambridge, Bristol and Kent with other sites across the Midlands and the South of England.
  • Collaborating with a team of 14 Engineers to deliver exceptional customer support
  • Manage the preparation, organisation, and filing of critical paperwork associated with UKAS-accredited engineering projects.
  • Develop your wider skillset working closely within the design, manufacturing and R&D teams.

Person Specification:

  • Previous experience as UKAS calibration engineer is desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Clean Driving Licence and willingness to travel/stay away from home up to 3 nights away a week.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Strong problem-solving knowledge.
  • Passport holder as some international travel for training will be required.
  • Basic IT skills.
  • Ability to perform maintenance and repairs is desirable

Package:

  • Salary ranging between £38,000 and £45,000 (Dependant on experience)
  • Company van including fuel allowance (Caddy Maxi)
  • 24 days annual leave + bank holidays + birthday leave + extra day for every 5 year served.
