- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging baking lessons that cater to a range of abilities
- Teach and demonstrate advanced baking techniques and practical skills
- Provide mentorship, support, and constructive feedback to students, fostering their development and enthusiasm for the craft
- Stay informed about the latest industry trends, technologies, and innovations to enhance teaching practices
Requirements:
- Proven experience in the baking industry, with hands-on expertise in professional baking or culinary arts.
- Previous experience as a Bakery Studies Lecturer or similar teaching role, preferably within a college setting
- Minimum GCSE qualifications in Maths and English
- Certification in baking or culinary arts (preferred but not essential)
- A valid DBS check registered with the online update service or willingness to apply for one
