Morgan McKinley Northern Home Counties are pleased to be recruiting for an Accounts Receivable Clerk for a 6 month contract based in Northamptonshire.
Job Description
In this newly created role, the Accounts Receivable Clerk will be an integral part of a focused and dynamic finance team.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the end-to-end accounts receivable ledger, including invoicing, cash collections, and reconciliations
Raise sales invoices and credit notes
Reconcile despatched, not invoiced reports
Work with operations to ensure timely invoicing
Resolve invoice discrepancies and billing inquiries with customers
Collaborate with internal teams to address queries
Produce monthly invoice statements and resolve related queries
Allocate customer payments to the ledger and maintain records
Provide daily aged debt reporting and handle credit control via phone and email
Assist with other finance-related tasks as needed
Ideal Candidate:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Previous experience with Sales Ledger is essential; Purchase Ledger experience is a plus
Experience with ERP systems, preferably EPICOR
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong ability to develop and maintain positive relationships with customers
Ability to build effective relationships across the business with fellow employees
Proficiency in the use of Excel
Salary:
Salary expectations are up to 28,000 per annum
