Bookkeeper Northampton Monday – Friday 37.5Hrs  (Neg. on PT hours minimum of 30)£25,00 - £30,000 DOE We have a great opportunity for a bookkeeper to join a well-established accountancy practice, located centrally in Northampton. You will join their outsourced bookkeeping department, where you will be required to oversee the day to day accounting functions of the business and its clients.   • Join a fast-growing outsourced services department as a bookkeeper.
  • Providing a knowledgeable and friendly service for a portfolio of clients covering all aspects of bookkeeping, management accounts and VAT returns.
  • Acting as the first point of contact for your assigned clients for these services.
  • Management of accounts - carry their balance sheet reconciliations and posting account journals.
  • Managing your own portfolio and workload. 
The Ideal candidate:
  • Have experience of working in an accountancy practice is essential 
  • Bookkeeping skills and VAT knowledge.
  • Credit Control experience 
  • A good working knowledge of Xero software.
  • Good analytical, numerical and communications skills.
