Well here at Impact Recruitment we are hiring skilled Production and Machine Operatives to work with a market leader in their industry based in Northampton. They are committed to finding individuals with a good working attitude that they can train to operate a variety of machinery.

Pay Rate: 13.32 - 14.30

Contract: Permanent

Hours: 6am - 1pm & 1pm - 8pm

Location: NN3

Job Duties:

  • Support the set-up and operation of machines, ensuring materials are accurately cut to specified widths and lengths.
  • Monitor machine performance, ensuring consistency and accuracy to avoid wastage and ensure quality.
  • Assist in the setup and maintenance of machinery, supporting operators in preparing runs, loading materials, and checking inks.
  • Perform quality checks on materials to ensure that all items meet customer specifications and industry standards.
  • Load and unload raw materials, finished products, and other items safely and efficiently, following company protocols.
  • Maintain accurate records of stock levels, reporting shortages, damages, or defects in a timely manner.
  • Conduct visual and physical quality checks at various stages of the processes, identifying and reporting any inconsistencies or defects.

  • Work closely with the quality assurance team to maintain standards, completing required documentation accurately.

Requirements:

  • Prior experience in manufacturing environments is desirable.
  • Attention to detail, strong organisational skills, and the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards.
