Sonic Summary

We are seeking a Tooling Technician to join our client's team in St James, Northampton.
The role involves preparing extrusion dies and calibrators, including setting up for production runs and performing necessary repairs.
Candidates should have experience in tooling and continuous improvement practices.
The starting salary is £11.60 per hour, increasing to £27,934 (£12.64) after the training period.
This is a temp-to-perm position requiring a 42.5-hour workweek, with hours from 08:00 to 17:30, Monday to Friday.

We're hiring for a Tooling Technician to join our clients team in St James, Northampton.

Role overview

This role is to carry out works on preparation of extrusion dies and calibrators. This includes setting up for production runs, cleaning and ensuring that necessary repairs are carried out, and working with the Tooling Team to ensure that continuous improvement is taking place in the Tooling area.

You will be responsible for cleaning tools and for ensuring tools are set up correctly and in a timely manner.

£11.60 starting rate increasing to £27,934 (£12.64) after training period.
Temp-Perm position after 13 weeks
42.5HR working week
