Opus People Solutions on behalf of Northampton Childrens Trust have a exciting opportunity for a Brokerage Manager to join their team.

Hybrid: 2 days per week in the office

Length of Assignment: 5-6 months

Location: Northampton, NN1 1ED

Duties

  • To lead on stabilising the delivery of all services but particularly the overnight short breaks service working closely with the provider to implement solutions
  • To develop the overnight shorts breaks referral process and panels
  • To work with the provider in developing a longer-term transformation plan to increase daytime activities and left shift from the overnight short breaks and commence its implementation
  • To draft and submit fundraising bids and in particular targeting larger funding opportunities where appropriate such as the National Lottery as well as smaller appropriate bids. A priority for funding opportunities is for an inhouse Personal Care and Support (PCaS) function.
  • To develop a volunteer strategy and action plan with the provider
  • To set up a performance monitoring framework and governance to include the parent forum groups representatives and other key stakeholders across the partnership
  • To ensure all contractual documentation is finalised and signed including any associated leases
  • To work with the provider to set up approach to coproduction of the transformation of services ensuring that children, young people and their families are at the heart

Experience

  • Proven experience in a managerial role with a track record of successful team leadership.
  • Demonstrated ability to supervise staff effectively while promoting a collaborative environment.
  • Experience in analysing operational performance and implementing improvements.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage with individuals at all levels of the organisation.
  • Background in Childrens Social Care/Brokerage/Commissioning
