General Maintenance Person

Wilson Recruitment are seeking a reliable and skilled General Maintenance Person to join a team on a part-time basis (20 hours per week), covering two sites across Daventry, Northamptonshire. This is a varied role requiring someone who is an all-rounder in general maintenance.Key Responsibilities:Maintaining clean yards, including winter de-icing and light groundwork such as weed removal.Handling property maintenance tasks including painting, decorating, basic plumbing, and electrical work.High-level warehouse cleaning using Skyvac or similar equipment.Low-level warehouse cleaning with an automated floor scrubber.Performing minor repair work.PAT testing (training provided if necessary).Occasional work at height (training provided if necessary).Required Skills & Attributes:Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently.Good time management skills to meet deadlines within the set hours.Full, clean UK driving licence for travel between sites and occasional van driving.Understanding of Health & Safety and COSHH regulations.Willingness to take on additional duties as needed by the Management Team.Must maintain confidentiality due to the sensitive nature of our business.Desirable Experience:Property maintenance experience, including basic plumbing and electrical work.PAT testing and working at height experience (preferred but not essential, training provided).Benefits:Competitive salaryCompany pensionDeath in service benefitUp to 33 days holiday (including bank holidays)Job Type: Part-timePay: Up to £12.50 per hourHours: 20 per weekSchedule: Monday to Friday, day shiftsWork Location: On-site (Daventry)Apply now if you think you've got what it takes!
