Maintenance Assistant needed for immediate start

A position has arisen for a Maintenance Assistant placed within a highly reputable organisation situated in Northamptonshire. This role takes responsibility for all maintenance support around the site.
Your duties will include:
- Providing a full range of services including security, portering, maintenance and ground maintenance, health and safety testing, driving and cleaning
- Opening and locking of all buildings, with intruder alarms being activated or deactivated as required, while checking that all unnecessary lights and equipment has been switched off and windows closed and secured
- Patrolling premises and property to maximise physical security of all assets and to provide a visible security presence
- Monitoring the CCTV systems in line with data protection procedures, and responding to any incidents as required
- Maintaining, decorating and actioning minor repairs to plant, equipment, furniture, fixtures, fittings and the fabric of the building
- Ensuring that all hard areas, grassed areas, drives, surrounds and grounds are kept neat and tidy and free of litter at all times
- Undertaking Legionella checks through weekly flushing of outlets maintaining appropriate records
The successful candidate should have:
- You must have previous experience working in similar role
- Please note a full UK driving license is required
