- Responsible for ensuring that all maintenance problems and queries are dealt with efficiently and effectively
- Guarantee your facilities and kit are working and well maintained
- Complete all daily/weekly checklists
- Supervise the completion of all monthly PPM jobs set by the Safety & Engineering department
- Manage and complete all reactive maintenance issues/entries ensuring member experience is not impacted
- Understand and implement all COSHH regulations and guidelines
- Direct accountability and responsibility for your Maintenance Engineer, setting clear goals, targets and KPIs
- Ensure that all Maintenance Engineers have the relevant competence and qualifications to complete the jobs required of them
- Minimum Level 2 technical qualification or equivalent with 5 years’ experience in a related field
- Can demonstrate previous experience of all aspects of building services systems and a good knowledge of building services compliance
- Basic skills in plumbing, joinery, tiling and painting
- A leader who can develop systems and implement existing ones with engineers of all abilities
- Ability to always work on site and to have flexibility in your work schedule demonstrating a readiness to contribute during early mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays as needed
