SF Recruitment are delighted to be retained and working with one of our long-standing clients to recruit a Head of Regional Sales. This role will form part of the senior leadership team and will report into the MD.
You will lead a Sales team in executing the sales strategy and ensure KPI's and SLAs are met. The Sales team is key to the success of the business, supporting the customer and branch network and is currently a team of Customer Development Managers operating across the entire network who are responsible for circa £10m annual revenue. You will lead, motivate, coach and develop the team to increase their capability and overall success.

Our client is looking for someone with previous experience within a similar level role, where you have managed, led and developed a sales team (B2B). Ideally from the Automotive / Vehicle Leasing / Truck & Trailer industries.


Key Responsibilities
- Drive the Sales strategy supported by the day-to-day activities of the team.
- Lead by example by building strong and positive partnerships with Regional your portfolio of customers.
- Understand specific regional customer needs and provide suitable and innovative solutions
- Work closely with branches to achieve revenue growth and profitability targets.
- Monitor market changes as well as competitor trends.
- Use data and industry knowledge to understand our position in the market and provide solutions on how to achieve a higher share of customer spend in a competitive market
- Ensure timely and accurate collection of CRM data, to inform decisions and drive sales.
- Provide Leadership to the CDM's through coaching and development to increase the teams' capability and success
- Support the CDM's with creating customer development plans.
- Manage and monitor the performance and activities of the Regional Sales Team and identify opportunities for improvement in performance.
- Produce reports, sales plans and forecasts to SLT and the wider business.
- Drive new revenue opportunities and increase retention of existing revenue.
- Act as a pipeline generator with all customer channels
- Work with the Senior Leadership Team to ensure the business strategy and regional sales strategy is aligned and key business KPI's are met and exceed
- Use your skills to support upskilling both within your team and in the wider business

As a rapidly growing business, The environment is fast-paced and priorities are regularly changing at short notice. This means that no two days are ever the same and you will need to be comfortable with this as well as the growth and development this offers.

You can expect to be travelling three to four days a week nationally that you will co-ordinate, you will be expected to meet with the MD and the rest of the senior leadership team monthly. Other essential traits for this role: Strong Leadership experience, excellent account management experience, proven success in coaching and leading a sales team to exceed KPI'S and SLA's. Proven track record in B2B Sales.
