Positions Available

30 hours per week - £21,081.08 - £21,891.89 per annum15 hours per week - £10,540.54 - £10,945.95 per annumRoles are based across Royal & Derngate, Northampton, and The Core at Corby Cube, NN17 1QG.

Job Purpose

To deliver key people activities for all employees across NAMT, Royal & Derngate (including Northampton Filmhouse), and The Core at Corby Cube.

Key Task Areas
  • Effectively manage our computerised systems to organise and maintain all people activities, including recruitment, new starter's information, and employee personal details.
  • Provide managers and colleagues with advice on people policies and procedures.
  • Lead all recruitment campaigns with administrative support from the People Assistant.
  • Act as the operational interface for colleague inductions, ensuring line managers have the resources and support to facilitate a consistent and effective welcome and training process for new team members.
  • Support the development and implementation of diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives to create a more inclusive and equitable workplace.
  • Support the development and implementation of engagement and well-being initiatives to improve colleague satisfaction and foster a supportive working environment.

Essential Skills

Experience

  • Proven experience in the human resources field
  • Experience managing computerised systems to organise and maintain people activities and data
  • Demonstrated involvement in recruitment campaigns and supporting people-related projects
  • Experience providing advice on people policies and procedures to managers and colleagues

Knowledge/Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of employment law, legislation, and General Data Protection Regulations
  • Knowledge of recruitment and selection practices
  • CIPD Qualification - Level 3 (or working towards)

Skills/Abilities

  • Strong organisational and administrative skills with the ability to coordinate multiple tasks effectively
  • Excellent communication skills for engaging with internal and external stakeholders; able to maintain confidentiality and interact with a wide range of people
  • Proactive with a flexible and adaptable approach
Desirable Skills

Experience

  • Previous experience in a management capacity within human resources
  • Experience in project management and interviewing

Knowledge/Qualifications

  • CIPD Qualification - Level 5

  • Budget management capabilities
  • Counselling and negotiating skills
  • Full driving licence and access to a vehicle
