Talent Acquisition Advisor – Northampton – Short-Term Gig

Most job ads are a load of waffle. Here’s what you actually need to know. Working hours, when you're in the office (3 days per week) if you want to do 8-4 to avoid traffic, that's cool or 9-5 when you're at home. It's a 37.5 hour working week.

Fast-paced, acquisitive business needs a Talent Acquisition Advisor who can step in, sort out hiring needs, and keep things moving. It’s a short-term role, so no long-winded onboarding—just get in, do the job, and make an impact.

What You’ll Be Doing:
  • Helping hiring managers figure out what they actually need (not just a copy-paste of the last JD).
  • Managing applications, sourcing talent, and making sure good people don’t slip through the cracks.
  • Keeping stakeholders in check—expect a mix of urgent requests and changing priorities.
  • Using an ATS properly (yes, that means keeping it updated).
  • Offering jobs, giving feedback, and making sure everyone knows what’s happening.
What You Need:
  • Recruitment experience (agency, in-house, logistics, or anything that involves hiring at pace).
  • Solid experience with job boards, LinkedIn, and direct sourcing.
  • The ability to juggle multiple roles without dropping the ball.
  • Confidence to push back when needed—hiring managers don’t always know best.
  • Strong communication skills—you’ll be dealing with everyone from site GM's to data analysts.

It’s paying mid-thirties, based at their Northampton HQ.

If you like the sound of it, hit apply. If it’s not for you, but you know someone who’d be great—share away.
