*** Experienced HGV2 Drivers Needed ***
Are you a class 2 driver looking for ongoing work in Northampton?
PAYE ONLY
Our client is based in Brackmills and looking for experienced HGV2 drivers to join them on a temp to perm basis.
On a daily basis you will be delivering pallets or boxes of medical supplies to support quality of live. This will be a mixture of deliveries as some day’s you will be delivering to patients at residential addresses and the next day could be deliveries to hospitals. The client will do a mix of them for you per week. This could mean one day you could be in the centre of London, hand delivering prescription only medical fluids and ancillaries to 12 different patients, the deliveries in excess of 500 kgs each. Some deliveries will require to be “handballed” upstairs in the patients property…. no need for a gym membership!
The role will involve 4am - 6am starts, these shifts will be around 10 - 12 hours.
Shifts: Monday - Friday starting between 4am - 6am (occasional weekend and bank holiday work)
Pay Rates:
Monday - Friday is £17.25 Day rate - £20.64 Unsocial rate
8 Hours minimum paid per shift

Requirements:
- You will need to have at least 1 years experience driving HGV2 in the UK
- A good level of fitness to be able to complete the physical work required
- Ability to drive safely and be trustworthy and reliable
- You need to have good verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to complete record sheets and other documentation accurately and in a timely manner
- You will need to have an in date CPC and Tacho card
- You must be flexible for longer shifts when needed.
