HGV Class 1 Drivers - Northampton - Earn up to £21 p/h - Temporary ongoing role - Immediate Starts - Apply Now!HRGO Recruitment are actively seeking qualified HGV Class 1 C+E Drivers based in Northampton, Crick, NN6 7TZ. Working for a wholesale distribution company.
Shifts immediately available are:
Tuesday-Saturday
Between 0000-0300 starts
Please note - we can offer alternative start times/days, however it may take alittle longer to get you started
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate and drive HGV 1 C+E vehicles to transport goods to designated locations
- Plan routes and schedules to ensure timely deliveries
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure road worthiness
- Adhere to all relevant traffic laws and regulations
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and logistics team members
- Shifts are booked daily with shift confirmation times texted to you the day before
Requirements:
- Valid HGV 1 C+E licence
- Up-to-date Tacho Digi Card and an up-to-date DCPC Card
- Min 12 months HGV Class 1 C+E experience
- Strong understanding of road safety regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- We will accept up to 6 points on your licence, but no DD, TT, DR, CD, IN endorsements.
