Position: HGV Class 2 Driver
Location: Northampton
Job Type: Day and Night Temp and Perm roles available
Salary: PAYE and LTD available
PAYE - Monday to Friday £14.50 to £17.25 per hour
LTD - Monday to Friday £16.00 to £18.00 per hour
Key Responsibilities:
Safely operate HGV Class 2 vehicles to deliver goods to various locations.
Ensure all deliveries are completed on time and in excellent condition.
Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness.
Comply with all UK driving laws, company policies, and safety regulations.
Complete delivery paperwork and maintain accurate records.
Provide exceptional customer service when interacting with clients.
Requirements:
Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) license.
Driver CPC qualification and valid digital tachograph card.
Minimum 1 year of experience in HGV Class 2 driving.
Strong knowledge of UK road laws and regulations.
Excellent communication skills and a professional attitude.
Ability to lift and move goods if required (manual handling training provided).
