Quest Employment are recruiting on behalf of our great client company based in NN5 Northampton, specializing in bespoke carpentry and joinery projects. We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Carpenter to join our team. This is a full-time position offering Monday to Friday work hours from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, with plenty of overtime opportunities available.
Responsibilities:
路 Utilize your bench joinery expertise to construct and assemble custom-made furniture, cabinetry, and other wooden structures according to specifications.
路 Interpret technical drawings and blueprints to accurately plan and execute carpentry projects.
路 Measure, cut, shape, and join materials using hand tools and power tools.
路 Install fixtures, fittings, and hardware as required.
路 Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
Requirements:
路 Proven experience as a Carpenter, specifically in bench joinery.
路 Proficient in using a wide range of hand tools and power tools.
路 Ability to interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
路 Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills.
路 Good physical stamina and ability to work on your feet for extended periods.
路 Time management skills to meet project deadlines.
路 Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
路 Valid driving license preferred but not essential.
