Bench Joiner

Quest Employment are recruiting on behalf of our great client company based in NN5 Northampton, specializing in bespoke carpentry and joinery projects. We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Carpenter to join our team. This is a full-time position offering Monday to Friday work hours from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, with plenty of overtime opportunities available.

Responsibilities:

Utilize your bench joinery expertise to construct and assemble custom-made furniture, cabinetry, and other wooden structures according to specifications.

Interpret technical drawings and blueprints to accurately plan and execute carpentry projects.

Measure, cut, shape, and join materials using hand tools and power tools.

Install fixtures, fittings, and hardware as required.

Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized workspace.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Carpenter, specifically in bench joinery.

Proficient in using a wide range of hand tools and power tools.

Ability to interpret technical drawings and blueprints.

Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills.

Good physical stamina and ability to work on your feet for extended periods.

Time management skills to meet project deadlines.

Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Valid driving license preferred but not essential.
