We are a busy food pub with 65 restaurant covers, serving food 7 days a week. We have a superb large garden, which is also a focal point for diners. It is very popular throughout the summer for alfresco dining. We also have the addition of an outdoor Kitchen, Woodfired Pizza Oven and BBQ.
We are looking for someone who would preferably have experience in cooking both Starter & Main sections, but minimum Starter section.
The candidate must have:
- An experience of working in a Chef role
- A passion for working with fresh food
- Flexible approach to work
- Have high standards & be fast paced
- Be an excellent Team player
- Provide an input to the menus
- Be responsible for achieving the food margin through portion control and management of raw ingredients
- Experience in food preparation either in the work place or college
- Ensure stock is rotated and controlled within the specific section of the kitchen
- Accountable for food safety and hygiene within the specified kitchen areas
