The Opportunity

This is an opportunity to execute all site marketing activities for a market leading B2B Company who partner with a number or well-known brand names such as Amazon and M&S and TK Maxx. It is a 12 month maternity cover contract with hybrid working from their Offices located in Northampton.

Reporting to the Marketing Director, the purpose of the role will be to lead and execute multi-channel marketing activities, ensuring alignment with the overall brand strategy. You will manage agency partnerships and development team collaborations to ensure best practices, strong campaign performance, and continuous optimisation of marketing efforts. The role is pivotal in ensuring site marketing effectiveness, maximising awareness, and generating interest through integrated campaigns.

Key Responsibilities

Site Marketing Strategy & Execution

  • Develop and implement marketing campaigns throughout the site lifecycle
  • Plan and execute launch events with agency partners
  • Oversee multi-channel media campaigns (trade media, paid social, Google search, agent promotions)
  • Keep marketing collateral and site webpages updated
  • Ensure site branding meets high-quality standards across physical marketing materials

Digital & Social Media Integration

  • Work with the Digital Marketing Executive to plan and deliver regular marketing content for social media, particularly LinkedIn
  • Leverage digital tools and AI technologies to enhance brand visibility and marketing efficiency
  • Stakeholder Management & Communication
  • Serve as a key liaison between development teams, agencies, and senior stakeholders to ensure project alignment

Agency & Partner Collaboration

  • Manage relationships with agency partners, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and at a high standard
  • Provide clear and accurate project briefings, pushing for continuous improvements in campaign execution

Key skills required

This is a great opportunity for someone with a strong background in Marketing Branding, who understands the core marketing frameworks: Marketing Funnel, Brand vs. Product campaigns, positioning, and messaging.

You will be experienced in planning and executing activations, events and launches and show knowledge of LinkedIn content strategy and engagement best practices. Organisation and decision-making will be crucial with a natural ability to manage multiple projects, meeting deadlines while maintaining project momentum.

Your technical proficiency will include website CMS platforms such as Umbraco and WordPress and knowledge of HubSpot is preferable, particularly email campaigns. You will also have experience in managing marketing budgets across collateral, media, and events.

Ultimately, you will be someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and be able to present ideas and decisions with confidence. You will have an ability to build strong, trusted relationships across development, digital, agency, and leadership teams to drive alignment and shared goals.

This is a maternity cover contract, however there is a strong chance that this could evolve into a permanent hire due to the current business plans and positive performance.
