Reed Sales & Marketing are exceptionally excited to be representing a Globally Established Manufacturing Company.

With their Headquarters based in Bradford, this company is looking for an experienced Area Sales Manager to cover a variety of regions, predominantly those based in the Southern remits of the UK.

The chosen candidate will be responsible for distributor and direct customer account contact in the areas of sales, technical support, and onsite hands-on support.  This will cover light-duty and heavy-duty industries including warehousing, parcel, food processing, beverage, mining, aggregate, agriculture, and wood products.

Benefits:

Responsibilities:

  • Create and execute sales plans for your assigned territory, aligning them with overall company goals.
  • Consistently meet or exceed sales targets by persuading customers within your territory to purchase client products and services.
  • Maintain solid working relationships with customers, ensuring their needs are met and promptly resolving any complaints.
  • Monitor competitor activity within your territory and stay informed about industry trends that may impact client’s products and services.
  • Ensure that brand awareness within your assigned territory meets company expectations.
  • Develop innovative sales strategies to increase sales and market share.
  • Identify opportunities, promote and develop sales of client’s products to both end-users and distributor partners within defined territory.
  • Provide advice and backup on engineering applications and solutions to technical problems.
  • Attend trade shows.
  • Work within the company’s quality assurance and health and safety systems.
