Job Title: Client Manager

ProTalent Practice Recruitment is thrilled to be partnering with a prestigious accountancy firm to find a talented Client Manager based in Northampton, offering a competitive salary between £50,000 and £55,000!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage your own portfolio of smaller and medium clients with minimal Partner supervision.
  • Conduct client meetings and new client meetings with confidence.
  • Lead in training and managing staff, including ongoing performance appraisals and developing an effective team.
  • Generate new clients and contribute to various business aspects.
  • Ensure the smooth running of the compliance function and practice organisation.
  • Work proactively on planning and other tasks for clients, promoting a helpful ethos.
  • Develop a network of useful contacts.
  • Achieve chargeability and recoverability targets.
  • Maintain a level of technical knowledge commensurate with the position.
  • Demonstrate strong commercial skills in negotiating fees with clients and decision-making on jobs.
  • Predominantly supervise work rather than performing tasks yourself, with a focus on higher-level responsibilities, technical knowledge, and the development of junior staff.
