Salary: circa £120,000 per annum

Interim People Director - The Role:

We are seeking an experienced and visionary People Director to join a leading Multi-Academy Trust in the East Midlands on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This pivotal role offers an exciting opportunity to lead transformative change in a large, complex organisation committed to delivering outstanding education outcomes.

Interim People Director - Key Responsibilities:

- As the Interim People Director, you will provide strategic leadership across the Trust's HR and people functions during a critical period of growth and transformation

- Working closely with the CEO and Executive Leadership Team

- Driving the integration of new academies following mergers and acquisitions (M&A)

- Designing and managing transformation programmes to enhance organisational effectiveness and culture

- Supporting the Trust through structural and operational changes, ensuring alignment with its mission and values

- Developing and delivering innovative people strategies that strengthen leadership, improve staff retention, and enhance employee engagement

Interim People Director - You:

- Extensive experience in M&A and managing people-related aspects of large, complex, group company structures

- A proven track record of leading organisational transformation, including programme design and management

- The ability to operate effectively in fast-paced, high-pressure environments

- Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with the credibility to influence at Board and Executive levels

- A deep understanding of employment law, HR best practices, and change management principles

- Experience within the education sector is desirable but not essential
