A leading M&E (Mechanical and Electrical) partner in the UK. They specialise in designing and installing building services and infrastructure solutions for commercial, defence and government clients. Producing M&E packages of up to £40m.

Role Overview:

The Mechanical Project Manager will lead the Mechanical team in the delivery of a brand new £750m with an MEP value of £200m spanning over 4 years. You will play a crucial role in overseeing mechanical installations design phase through to completion. Your responsibilities will include project planning, resource allocation, cost management, and ensuring timely delivery. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, contractors, and clients, to achieve project goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Budget Management: Develop, monitor, and manage project budgets, including profit margins, preliminary costs, and procurement expenses.
  • Program Implementation: Create detailed project schedules and programs to enable accurate progress monitoring and reporting.
  • Resource Management: Secure and allocate the necessary resources to effectively and efficiently deliver the project or scheme.
  • Professional Delivery: Ensure successful project completion within specified constraints while maintaining a professional approach.
  • Quality Plan Development: Implement and oversee the creation of the Project Quality Plan and Trade Quality Plans.
  • Defect Rectification: Manage procedures for identifying and addressing defects.
  • Project Handover: Ensure a successful and seamless handover of the project, providing support to the customer or end user throughout the process
