Our client has an opportunity for an experienced senior civil engineer within their Northampton team. You will undertake civil design on projects such as residential, commercial, industrial, healthcare and education, up to multi million pounds in value.
About you:
- Degree in civil / structural engineering
- At least 6 years' UK experience within a civil engineering role
- Proficient in designing roads and drainage schemes, such as below ground foul & surface water drainage systems
- Competent in using AutoCAD
- Fully competent in SuDS and flood risk assessments
- Experience liaising with Local Authorities and Planning Departments
- Hold a valid UK driving licence
You will use your initiative and manage deadlines, being responsible for organising your own work whilst being part of the team. Your role will include preparation of detailed drainage strategies and verification reports.
