Site Engineer

The Solution Group is seeking a highly skilled Setting Out Engineer for a full-time, on-site position based in Northampton and surrounding areas. The Setting Out Engineer will be responsible for the day-to-day tasks associated with setting out and surveying groundworks projects. Key responsibilities include conducting surveys, interpreting designs and drawings, setting out layouts, monitoring progress, and ensuring accuracy and quality control throughout the project.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct surveys and site assessments
• Interpret and work from construction designs and drawings
• Set out project layouts with precision
• Monitor project progress and provide accurate reports
• Ensure quality control and accuracy throughout the project lifecycle

Qualifications:

• Proficiency in surveying equipment and software
• Knowledge of construction methods and materials
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and designs
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Experience in Groundworks with houses, roads & sewers
